Helping dogs get adopted

I'm a self-taught photographer and a volunteer pet photographer in New Jersey. I believe a great photo can be the difference between a dog getting scrolled past or getting a forever home.

For rescues and fosters

How it works

Everything is designed to be low-pressure and comfortable, for you and the dog.

  1. 1.

    Getting started

For safety reasons, I only work with referrals from rescue organizations. If you've been referred, your rescue will give you a password for my booking calendar.

  2. 2.

    Scheduling

I usually shoot on Saturdays and Sundays. When you're ready, see my schedule and pick a time on the booking page.

  3. 3.

    Location

I photograph dogs in their foster home, where they're comfortable, can be off-leash, and look their most natural. I usually book sessions within about an hour of Scotch Plains, NJ.

  4. 4.

    Session details

Sessions run 45 to 60 minutes, depending on how quickly your foster pup settles in. No rush: we go at their pace.

  5. 5.

    Treats

Small treats prepared ahead of time go a long way toward keeping your dog focused and rewarded. If you'd like me to bring some, just let me know.

  6. 6.

    During the shoot

Follow along and help, or let me work with the dog on my own. Whatever you're comfortable with works great.
